These Worthless PicturesI hate my job. I’ve got no wife. I’m such a slob. I hate my life. We sang it over and over like a show tune, alternating lines and always feigning a big finish like we were on Broadway. When the final pose was struck, we always laughed about it. It wasn’t funny because it was catchy or because it was mildly clever. To tell the truth, it wasn’t funny at all. We played it off as an inside joke, but we only laughed that contrived laughter that comes almost naturally in the face of an awkward or adverse situation.
